Added WiFi Multicast Filtering and VLAN Bridging

Enhances WiFi performance by allowing selective filtering of multicast services to reduce unnecessary airtime usage. Also introduces VLAN Bridging, enabling multicast proxying between VLANs for WiFi clients. VLAN Bridging is available only when the Gateway mDNS Proxy is disabled.

UniFi Network Native Application for UniFi OS

A specific application version that is only compatible with the UDM, UDR, UDR7, Express, Express 7, UCG-Ultra, UCG-Max, and UCG-Fiber (running UniFi OS 3.1.6 or newer).

• The UniFi OS update uses the application version required for your console.
• The manual update process via SSH requires you to use the compatible package. Incompatible packages will be rejected on installation.
• Older UniFi OS versions (before UniFi OS 3.1.6) on the UDM and UDR still use regular UniFi Network Application for UniFi OS.

• Fixed an issue where Voice VLAN-tagged traffic could be forwarded to an 802.1X-authenticated client.
• Fixed an issue where multiple Port Mirroring configurations did not take effect.
• Fixed an issue where link instability and packet loss could occur with directly connected Intel I219-V NICs and Cisco Meraki access points.
• Fixed a missing Default Gateway IP setting in Layer 3 DHCP configuration.
• Fixed an issue where DHCP Snooping could prevent devices from obtaining an IP address after a reboot.

EAV (Fiber, XG-24-PoE)

• Fixed an issue where PTP time synchronization did not start after a reboot.

Known issues

• XG-6-PoE, Pro (24/48-PoE), Enterprise (24/48-PoE): The last PoE port may fail to power the connected device when the switch is rebooted. To recover, disable PoE on the affected port using the Port Manager, wait a few seconds, and then re-enable PoE.

Additional information

• Touchscreen and Etherlighting may take several minutes to become operational after the firmware update.
